You and your family and friends are invited to attend the KA in VL tailgate before the Lehigh-Bucknell football game on Saturday, September 28. Festivities will start at 9:30 am. We have reserved a tailgate space in the grassy field east of the paved parking lot behind Stabler Arena, southeast of the traffic circle. This is the area where Greek and other larger groups typically tailgate. We will have a 20-by-20-foot rental tent set up in (tentatively) space S4. Look for our red Kappa Alpha banner.
Plan on reconnecting with fellow Kaps before the 12:00 kickoff at Lehigh’s Goodman Stadium. Your Kappa Alpha Alumni Association of Lehigh University will provide the tailgate food. You'll just need to bring your own beverages and chairs, as needed. Per Lehigh’s rules; please do not bring any beverages in glass containers. Lehigh also limits how many cars can park in this grassy field, so please park in the adjacent gravel or paved lots if you are physically capable of walking over to our tent.
Note that Lehigh has designated this football game as "Tackle Cancer Day".
PLEASE LET MARK MESSICS (ppresiddent-aalumnii@kka-leehighh.orgg) KNOW IF YOU WILL BE ATTENDING THE TAILGATE (with a headcount) SO THAT WE ORDER ENOUGH FOOD. Feel free to just tailgate and skip the game. Similarly, if you arrive late, you can always find a core group of Kaps sitting behind the Marching '97 in the stadium.
